Culture and Heritage project manager job at Harrow Giving

Employment: Contract, 2 years fixed term 

Salary:  £31,042 per annum (28 hours per week) 

Location: The Lodge, 64 Pinner Road, Harrow, HA1 4HZ

Hours: Part-time. Some evening and weekend work will be needed.

Closing date: 10am Monday 11th March 2024

Stories of Harrow is a new project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) to support small community groups in Harrow to share their social heritage. Run by Harrow Giving, in partnership with Voluntary Action Harrow, Harrow Council and Headstone Manor & Museum, the project aims to protect the fragile social history of our diverse population, particularly focusing on the post-war period. 

As part of this project, around 15 groups will be supported over 20 months with small financial grants underpinned by training and practical help from the manager, based at Voluntary Action Harrow. The project will culminate in a showcasing event to share the stories with the wider Harrow population, as well as working with Headstone Manor & Museum to create a long-lasting archive of any materials.

We are looking for a great project manager, with experience of the heritage sector, to lead this work.
