Every year, from 1st to 7th June, the UK celebrates all the brilliant things volunteers have achieved. Here in Harrow, volunteers are making a huge difference and we’d like to extend a huge THANK YOU to each and every one.

Harrow’s Volunteer Super Stars 2023

Harrow Litter Pickers – a group of volunteers making Harrow a brighter, cleaner place!

RCCT (Romanian Culture Charity Together) who run a hub supporting the Romanian Community, providing hot meals and essential services.

Harrow Park Run is a free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it’s up to you!

My Yard volunteers bring Harrow residents together to share and redistribute surplus food.

Harrow Cycle Hub offer inclusive cycling for disabled people and others who find two-wheelers difficult.

Bhakti Mandal volunteers provided a warm hub and activities including gentle exercises and chair yoga.

Friends of Headstone Manor Park have been transforming their beautiful park

Sustain IT refurbish donated computers, passing them on to local charities and voluntary groups

Diwa Asian Women’s Network (DAWN) provide emotional and mental health support and social inclusion.

The Asian Women’s Cancer Group (AWCG) support women affected by cancer across Harrow.
