Harrow Photographer of the Year 2024

People’s Choice Runner Up
This photo was taken during my nightly dog walks introducing my Akita to the lovely group of new friendly cows found in Headstone manor park. They hit it off immediately with the cows coming to say hi every night when we passed by.
The cows are a Dexter heritage breed, valued for conservation grazing, they have been introduced to Headstone Manor for the first time in 50 years to help manage and improve the grassland and vegetation within the wetland area.
They were originally set to stay for just two weeks but I’m sure due to their popularity and friendliness with the locals, they continued to stay well into June.
